Stella is really worried now after Ansgar’s threat and tells Carla that she’d better get everything done on time or face more wrath from Ansgar. But Carla is not even listening. While Stella’s scrambling to button up her shirt, Carla goes over to help her. But Stella mistakes Carla’s assistance to “something else” ‘coz Carla apparently only has eyes on her chest with that naughty grin of hers. She immediately pushes Carla away ‘coz at this point, Stella’s really strung up about meeting Ansgar’s deadline! Carla gives her an innocent look and tells her that she was just helping her button up her shirt ‘coz apparently Stella, in the midst of her panic, did them all lopsided. Stella looks down and realizes that Carla’s right! She was actually trying to help Stella get dressed! (Oh, take your mind out of your gutter, Stella! Awww, these 2 are so “wired up” it’s no wonder poor Stella can’t focus!) After scrambling to get her shoes, with her clothes and hair still ruffled, she hurries out the door but not before giving Carla a deeply apologetic look for spoiling their afternoon together. Carla just shrugs & grins as if to say, “Oh well…”

In the castle, Stella hands over the suit that she just picked up from the tailor’s to one of her staff members to have it prepared to be handed to Ansgar. Just then, Ansgar appears. Stella immediately apologizes to him for the delay but that she’s taken care of everything including the box of cigars. But of ‘coz that still doesn’t satisfy Ansgar who turns around and basically tells her that she’s too late with the cigars as they were for a business acquaintance.

Ansgar continues to remind Stella that she should not have any illusion about who the real boss is. Carla is gobsmacked at his obnoxious remark and is just about to say something but Ansgar is leaves without a word.

Stella stands there looking mighty dejected. Carla feels sorry for her and gives her a squeeze of support.

Later, in the study, Ansgar is having a conversation with Tanja when Carla barges in, with a box of cigars in her hands. When she reaches Ansgar’s desk, she simply tosses it over to him.

She leans over intimidatingly and tells Ansgar stop his little games, like those stupid insignificant cigars and what not. As she leaves the study, she turns to Ansgar and Tanja and digs at their own life (or lack thereof!) (Oooo, let’s have a sibling smackdown!!)

Stella continues to feel the ”consequence” of having a relationship with her employer as she overhears her staff gossiping about her and Carla, with comments about the inappropriateness of her going out with the countess of the castle whom she works for and in the workplace, no less. This disturbs Stella greatly. Just then, Elisabeth enters her office and tells her not to worry about Ansgar ‘coz Carla will protect her and make sure that her job status is secure. After Elisabeth leaves, Stella looks visibly concerned.

Later that day, when Carla and Elisabeth are busy organizing their schedules in the sitting room, in comes Stella asking if she could have a word with Carla. She then proceeds to tell Carla that she has unwittingly let their relationship affect her job duties at work which is totally unacceptable to her as an employee. Carla at first thinks Stella is over-reacting toward what happened earlier with Ansgar. But Stella drops the ball when she tells Carla that it’d be best that she looks for another job in order to avoid neglecting her job responsibilities again. She continues on saying that she will tender her resignation immediately and leaves the room. Carla looks at Elisabeth, stunned and speechless.

Stella is in one of the guest suites giving instructions to the maid about cleaning up when Carla enters the room and asks if she could have a private word with her. Stella disburses the maid.

After the door is closed, Carla told Stella that her revelation earlier gave her and Elisabeth quite a scare. Why Stella would think of quitting is totally not what she expected. She urges Stella to tell her what she can do to make her change her mind as she and Elisabeth will not accept her resignation.

Carla doesn’t feel that Stella’s neglecting her job at all as a result of them being together. Stella disagrees and points out at what happened with Ansgar. Carla immediately stops Stella short and tells her that she shouldn’t worry about Ansgar at all, let her deal with him, not Stella. But Stella argues that Ansgar not the only problem but the other staff members, too. As the caretaker, she should be setting a good example in carrying out her duties efficiently, instead of making mistakes that she normally wouldn’t just because she’s in love. To her, that’s not acceptable when her job is affected by her private life. Stella is clearly a stickler for order and perfectionism as a professional.

Carla still believes that Stella’s being a little too sensitive and too hard on herself but she sympathizes with her dilemma. So, instead of accepting Stella’s resignation, Carla comes up with a plan. She suggests that they should amend Stella’s current employment contract to include a set of rules that would separate business from pleasure. That way, Stella would have time to do her work efficiently and time to be with Carla in the castle.

The idea gives pause to Stella’s intent to quit since it could work. So, without further ado, Stella starts dictating every rule to Carla who starts writing it down. But when Stella starts to set a rule about where and how often they can meet and be together in the castle, Carla pretends to be offended, but Stella just gives her an indignant look. Carla quickly tells her that she’s just kidding around. But Stella’s in no mood to kid around as she’s very serious about getting the rules all set up so she could remain working in the castle without feeling guilty.

After a while, they’re finally done. Carla goes over to Stella to have her sign the document. Carla then asks if that’s good enough for Stella and that it’s done, Stella grins and accepts. Immediately, Carla takes Stella in her arms and starts to kiss her. But Stella pushes her away reminding her about the rules of not being intimate while in the confines of the castle.

Carla, always the one with naughty and sly ideas, suggests that there should be exceptions like, the wing of the castle where they’re in at that moment, for instance, should be cornered off as a place in the castle that they can be intimate. Stella thinks it’s a good idea but insists that they should add that to the document she just signed.

But before she could get writing, Carla, who, by now, has had enough of work talk, grabs the pen and the clipboard away from Stella, tosses them on the couch nearby and takes her in her arms again. This time, since Stella has agreed to the exceptional rule about that particular wing they’re in, there’s no more pushing anymore. Instead, they’re holding each other in an intimate embrace and proceed to kiss each other lovingly.

Carla is happy ‘coz she’s just managed to prevent Stella from quitting. Stella is happy ‘coz she can keep working in the castle and be with Carla! A happy couple….at least for now….

Poor Elisabeth has officially been “cast out” as the legitimate wife of Johannes von Lahnstein by Ansgar which includes the cessation of all the rest of the “benefits” that she used to enjoy including rights to the Holding. From now on, she no longer holds any rights to keep her married last name nor does she have anything to do with the Holding or Königsbrunn anymore. She’s deeply disappointed despite Carla’s persistent reminder that she’s still Carla/Leonard/Constantin’s stepmother and rightful wife of Johannes. But, as long as Maria is still perceived as the real “Francesca,” and Ansgar already has official documents to deny Elisabeth that right, there’s really nothing Carla can do for her stepmother.

However, Elisabeth is still not giving up on the Holding. She believes strongly that she needs to defend Johannes’ will and testament about Carla being the rightful successor to the Holding. So, she urges Carla to keep fighting to take back what’s rightfully hers. However, Carla is not sure especially when everything seems to be finite after “Francesca” signed over the rights to Ansgar.

Just then, Stella enters the study to inform Carla that the nanny is not available to look after Sophia that day. Carla is just about to make alternative arrangements with her address book when Stella jumps in to offer her assistance. She could take care of Sophia, why not? Carla wasn’t expecting it so she’s touched and very pleased about it. (Awww…..) With Carla’s blessing, Stella leaves happily to taken on her new task as Sophia’s nanny for the day…

Ansgar, Tanja and the rest of the staff are having a meeting when Carla and Elisabeth show up – late. While Carla apologizes for their tardiness, Ansgar stares down at Elisabeth and asks why “Elisabeth Brandner” is there with Carla. (Bastard!) Carla, stressing “Elisabeth Von Lahnstein,” as she replies to Ansgar, explains to everyone that Elisabeth still has a role in the Holding with her. However, Ansgar and Tanja both correct Carla in that changes are being made to the Holding already.

That obviously doesn’t sit well at all with Carla. Whatever it is, she’s still one of the partners of the Holding. She later barges in on Ansgar and Tanja and demands to know what the hell is going on. As Ansgar tries to dismiss her, Carla screams at him that the Holding belongs to her, not him. (Yeah, as if Ansgar cares!) Ansgar reminds her that he is now the one holding the power to the Holding on paper and legally. Carla is clearly at a loss for words. Who can blame her ‘coz regardless, at the end of the day, Ansgar does have the contract from their so-called mother. It’s all legitimate. The contract is apparently locked tight with Ansgar’s name on it, not Carla’s.

Carla & Elisabeth are back in the castle. Elisabeth is still trying to give Carla encouragement to fight Ansgar even though Carla’s basically thrown in the towel ‘coz whatever plan they have, it’s KAPUT now that Ansgar has an iron-clad hold on the company. They go into the living room and spot Stella playing with Sophia who’s obviously been having a fun time. Stella sees Carla and immediately tells Sophia that her mom’s home! (Awww…what a lovely sight to see – the 3 of them together, like a proper family!)

Carla and Stella are flirting around as they walk down the main stairs in the castle when they spot Ansgar and Tanja watching them. Immediately, she and Stella stop their otherwise very enjoyably flirtatious moment. Ansgar immediately asks if they’ve forgotten the rules and restrictions about their ability to be intimate with each other while they’re in the castle walls. Tanja adds her stingy comments as well, of ‘coz (dozy cow!). Stella is visibly disgusted at the 2 of them while Carla takes a jab at Ansgar indignantly.

Just as Carla thinks that her jab has shut up her ever-bothersome brother and the skanky wife of his and leads Stella back up the stairs, totally snubbing them, Ansgar came back with yet another jab which makes Stella give them one of the dirtiest looks she’s ever given thusfar, and Carla close in on Ansgar’s face, retaliates with yet another scathing comeback that she’s come to use more often nowadays when it comes to her blood-sucking brother! And then they both march upstairs, this time, without any further interruption from either Ansgar or Tanja. But Ansgar gives a dangerous pondering look as he watches them silently. Hmmm… a dare game, eh?

Bugger! Seems like Carla and Stella can’t seem to have a moment of peace alone without the “evil pair” (Ansgar & Tanja) constantly in their faces! This time it’s Tanja who spots Carla & Stella having a little laugh and an “almost smooch” in the hallway before they have to stop when they “feel” Tanja’s icy-cold stare burning into them. Tanja sparing no time expressing her disdain towards the lovebirds (who can’t seem to take their hands off each other whenever they’re together!) but good ol’ Elisabeth comes to their rescue. Of ‘coz enters Ansgar and the 2 rub their noses at Carla and Stella by being physically affectionate to each other on purpose while our poor lovebirds have to abide by the silly "no touch" rule! At that moment, Carla, Stella and Elisabeth look like they’re about to pounce on the buggers and rip them to pieces with their bare hands! (that would BE an exciting scene to see!) Alas, Ansgar and Tanja continue to ignore them. Apparently, Tanja’s going to Dubai. After they leave, Carla is visibly fuming. Stella and Elisabeth both try to calm her down. But Carla’s on a mission. She’s truly thinking about a strike on Ansgar especially with Tanja out of the way, at least temporarily. So for the moment, she’ll let Ansgar throw his weight around.

In the office, Carla is engrossed in her plan to take down Ansgar. Her nose is buried in a big binder of data while outside her office, Stella makes her way to see her, spotting (for the 1st time!) a white, summery dress. When she enters Carla’s office with a cheery “Hi, darling!” greeting, Carla barely looks up. But that doesn’t deter Stella from being all excited about their romantic dinner that she has prepared for Carla at Charlie’s “Schneider’s.” As Stella reminds Carla about it, Carla obviously has forgotten but makes some excuses and tries to be as excited as Stella, to no avail. That Ansgar is truly ruining both their lives! Right now, all Carla can think of is how to take down her brother once and for all. Just then, Elisabeth enters so Stella, knowing her cue, excuses herself but before she leaves, she tries again to give Carla a “wink” about the dinner but Carla is just too pre-occupied with her vengeance. Poor Stella!

Carla, despite trying to find her way through the paperwork for loopholes, can’t seem to get anywhere. Then, Elisabeth comes up with an idea. Sebastian. Why can’t Carla try to convince Sebastian to sell his shares to her so she could have more shares than Ansgar, hence could be the majority shareholder? Sounds like a good idea ‘coz the next thing we know, Carla and Elisabeth practically hijack Sebastian into Carla’s office and begin their interrogation as a means to try to force him to give up his shares, but in a justifiable way (Carla reminds him that with Ansgar holding the power, it’d make life miserable for everyone including Sebastian). Sebastian, with his own personal problems encroaching upon him (possibility of a divorce with Lydia), can’t take Carla’s pressure anymore. Finally, he just snaps and tells Carla that he doesn’t give a rats ass about what she’s going through with Ansgar. Regardless, he will not relinquish his shares of the Holding to Carla or anyone. He then storms out, leaving Carla at a loss for words.

But Carla is apparently on a roll. She immediately thinks about trying to convince Rebecca instead and had Elisabeth not stop her right there, she probably would have kidnapped Rebecca to try to get the shares that she needs already. Elisabeth reminds her that she shouldn’t act with such desperation. More planning is needed. Carla hits another snag with Ansgar in the office. It’s tit-for-tat time when Ansgar’s concerned. Apparently he never forgot how Carla treated him before when she told him to his face in front of everyone in the Holding that whatever he did or needed must be approved by her first. Now, the tables are turned. Ansgar is using the same rule against Carla. Even for a pen, Carla must seek approval from Ansgar first. Carla can barely contain her rage and almost spits at him, screaming that she’s not asking for anything for personal use but for the company’s customers. As if Ansgar cares to differentiate personal from business. All he cares about is get back at his sister and he definitely has his sweet revenge this time.

When Carla’s back in her office, she immediately throws in a big, hissy fit, tossing everything on the floor furiously, while Elisabeth tries to calm her down. At the same time, Stella’s happily preparing for their romantic evening together at the rooftop of “Schneider’s.” Charlie stops by and sees just how obliviously happy Stella is. Stella just can’t contain her joy of being in love and having a fulfilled life with Carla. (Awwww… how sweet!) While she’s smiling from ear to ear, waiting in anticipation for the love of her life to show up, Carla’s about to snap Elisabeth’s head off for trying to stop her creating more havoc in her office! Now that Elisabeth has managed to convince Carla to fight against Ansgar, she realizes that it’s impossible to “put the genie back into the bottle,” now that Carla’s blood is boiling and her vengeance-seeking spirit is in the forefront now. Amidst all the office-wreaking temper, obviously Carla’s forgotten someone important in her life….Stella….who’s still waiting for her patiently at "Schneider's" along with their supposed romantic evening together….. OH, BUGGER!!!

Stella realizes disappointed that Carla has obviously forgotten her over the fight for the power. Elisabeth convinces Stella to show Carla understanding for her difficult situation. The more appalled Stella is after she had promised her support to Carla and finds out that Carla wants to use Hannes to put Ansgar under pressure. Stella can't believe that Carla condescends to Ansgar. Carla is like a stranger to Stella - this is not the woman she has fallen in love with...

Stella slowly realizes that Carla is not going to show up at all after she’s practically finished drinking the whole bottle of sparkling water, not counting the wine! Charlie pops up to check on her and seeing Stella’s visible disappointment, tries to cheer her up. However, Stella realizes that perhaps Carla doesn’t see her or their relationship as a priority at all. In the midst of her utter sadness, she questions whether Carla really loves and sees her as an important part of her life. Charlie tries to defend Carla but Stella has had enough of waiting already. To her, the entire evening which she so looking forward to spending with Carla, is ruined. She excuses herself, thanks Charlie for all her help in making the romantic dinner preparation and leaves in disappointment.

Back at the Holding, Carla is still engrossed in plotting a way to get back at Ansgar but can’t seem to come up with anything while Elisabeth watches on. Then Carla spots Ansgar outside her office with his son, Hannes, in tow. Both Carla and Ansgar shoot daggers at each other with their cold stares before Ansgar and Hannes leave the Holding. Carla is furious but suddenly, as if a lightbulb in her head has been switched on, her eyes brighten. She becomes excited as she quickly goes to her handbag to dig out her personal organizer. Then she spots her mobile phone with a message. It’s a message left by Stella. Carla suddenly remembers about their romantic date which she has completely forgotten! A look of “Verdammt!” in her eyes, Carla immediately calls Stella.

Back in the castle, Stella runs into Justus and asks him if Carla’s back. Just then, her phone rings. It’s Carla. She quietly walks away from Justus to make sure he’s out of earshot before asking where the heck Carla’s been. On the other line, Carla apologizes profusely blaming Ansgar for taking up all her time that she’s forgotten about their date. Stella, knowing that she’s not alone (Justus is still standing around, trying to eavesdrop), didn’t express what she really feels about Carla’s forgetfulness. She just listens to Carla’s continued excuses and ends the conversation with a non-committed “It’s okay” response. After they hang up, Carla naturally assumes that everything is fine ‘coz Stella’s fine with it.

Without a moment of hesitation, much to Elisabeth’s surprise, Carla goes back to her plan of vengeance mode. The bulb that apparently lighted on Carla’s mind turns out to be a dirty trap. She wants to entrap Ansgar by way of hiring a call girl to seduce him, and while they’re in the act, she will be in a position to snap a photo of them and use it to blackmail him. If Ansgar still doesn’t capitulate, Carla’s going to reveal Ansgar’s fake marriage with Tanja which will jeopardize Ansgar’s position once and for all, since he won’t be able to retain his custody of Hannes. Elisabeth stares at Carla in absolute disbelief and horror especially when she hears that Carla is actually planning to use Hannes as her ultimate “calling card” to defeat Ansgar! Elisabeth tries to talk Carla out of it, to no avail. It seems that Carla’s pulling out of the stops this time, with guns blazing. The hatred she has of her own brother knows no bounds now. She is determined to strike him down and nobody will be able to stop her.

There’s a knock on Stella’s door of her flat. She opens it and of ‘coz it’s Carla with a big bottle of champagne in her hands. Stella, still in her white evening dress but looks like she’s been in bed ‘coz her hair’s all ruffled (presumably, Carla turns up very late in the night), leans against the half-opened door, not budging despite Carla’s apologetic greeting. Stella stares at Carla coldly and quietly questions her sternly about taking her for granted. Carla starts to protest her innocence, immediately mentioning Ansgar again. This time, Stella is so fed up with the word “Ansgar” that Carla seems to blurt out all the time that she angrily scolds Carla about her blind obsession with her brother all the time that it’s ruining their relationship. Carla tries to get close to Stella but this time, Stella will not let her get away with it so easily, with her usual apology-kiss-and-make-up habit. This time, Stella wants Carla to know that she’s deeply hurt and disappointed at Carla’s apparent misplacement of her priorities.

Carla senses that there’s absolutely nothing she can do to appease Stella at that moment. She backs away but still standing at the door, she tries one final attempt for forgiveness when she bids her lover “Good night, see you in the morning” meekly but all she gets in return is a cold “See you in the morning” reply from Stella who closes the door in her face. Stella clearly feels heavy-hearted to have pushed Carla away like that as she lingers on with her ear glued to the door, as if to cherish the last moments of Carla’s presence before she leaves. (Ohhhhh…what a heartbreaking sight! What have you done, Carla?!)

The next morning, Elisabeth runs into Stella who just walks into the castle with a basketful of berries. Stella looks visibly sad as Elisabeth immediately notices and knows why. As she tries on a few berries, Elisabeth tactfully slides in her opinion about Carla’s apparent misjudgment of priorities last night, explaining to Stella that Carla is really under tremendous pressure with Ansgar trying to create havoc to their father’s legacy. She continues to persuade Stella to be a little more understanding toward Carla’s current predicament regarding her family problems, aka the “Ansgar problem.” Just then, Carla walks out of the study with Ansgar leading the way looking as smug as he has been recently. Carla looks worried and defeated. Elisabeth immediately goes by Carla’s side while Stella, now standing underneath the main stairs, fixes her eyes on Carla. Carla is so wrapped up with Ansgar that she hardly notices Stella or Elisabeth for that matter. Ansgar continues baiting Carla with his obnoxious comment about Carla facing the reality that she’s lost everything to him.

As he takes on the stairs, he spots Stella watching Carla underneath the stairs. Being the full-time misogynistic jerk that he is, Ansgar can’t help himself when he smirks and jeers at the both of them when he blurts out, “Huh, lesbians!”, as if being one or not has anything to do with anything at all. Stella is furious at how he’s behaving toward Carla as she glares at him. She looks back at Carla with deep concern in her eyes. Carla can’t believe what she just heard from Ansgar since he not only degraded her but also Stella. And that is a no-no to her. She immediately tries to run after him, presumably to give him a good walloping but Elisabeth is a step quicker when she instantly pulls her back and stops her short, reminding her that going after Ansgar like that is all but pointless. She then takes Carla back to the study, leaving Stella observing the whole charade. She now understands what Elisabeth has just told her earlier about Carla’s dilemma and the increasing pressure that she has to endure.

As Elisabeth continues trying to calm down Carla’s fury at what just happened in the main hall, there’s a knock on the door and in comes Stella with a tray of beverages. When she sees that it’s Stella, there’s a look of hopeful anticipation in Carla’s gaze (she obviously still feels very bad about what she did to Stella last night!). As Stella places the tray in front of Carla, she gives Carla a very “forgiving” look. (Yyyess!) Carla instantly gets that “message,” and smiles brightly in relief!! They both lock eyes longingly. Elisabeth, as if on cue, excuses herself quickly (Hurrah! For Elisabeth’s ever-sensible touch!) so the two lovebirds could have a private talk. Carla can’t help letting out her gleefulness as Elisabeth disappears into the other room, closing the door behind her.

Carla immediately goes toward Stella and tries to explain her “bad behavior” from last night again, this time, filled with intense regret in her voice and body language. But before she could even finish, Stella shuts her up with a loving, forgiving kiss. Carla, sensing that she’s really been forgiven, pulls Stella into a longing, hungry kiss and intimate embrace. Both of them are relieved that their apparent fight is over and they’ve made up (thank God!). Stella then gives Carla a loving massage to her otherwise stiff shoulder (from all the stress about Ansgar!), while at the same time, assuring Carla that she’ll always be supportive of her and understands what she’s going through. Carla is greatly relieved to hear that the love of her life is by her side. At that moment, nothing seems to penetrate their closeness and love for each other. (Or, are we speaking too soon?)

Now that she has Stella’s full support of whatever she’s doing to resolve the Ansgar problem, Carla begins to reveal her plot to take down Ansgar once and for all. As she describes the details, Stella looks more and more troubled and finally has to stop Carla mid-way through her plot revelation when she hears about the involvement of Hannes. Stella confronts Carla for being out of line in her quest to crush Ansgar. But Carla is clearly unfazed and is totally oblivious to the negative consequences to her actions. Stella eyes Carla in disbelief and questions her tactics because if she insists on going through with it, the difference between the integrity of Carla and Ansgar would be gone. Carla would be acting like Ansgar, with absolutely no regard to others. But Carla stubbornly defends her plan as she refuses to listen to reason. Stella is stunned, beyond upset. Visibly troubled, Stella questions who exactly Carla is ‘coz the Carla she’s fallen in love with is not the Carla she's looking at now. Carla, amidst her sheer hard-headedness, can’t help feeling worried by Stella’s troubling observation…but she's not backing down...at least not for now.... (Verdammt! How short-lived is their reconciliation?! One minute they’re kissing and making up, the next minute, Stella’s questioning who she’s in love with! Scheiße!)

Stella can’t believe that after reminding Carla that she simply can’t sink to Ansgar’s level of evildoing, Carla is still determined to go along with her plan! Carla desperately tries to make Stella look at the whole situation from where she’s standing ‘coz let’s not forget, if Ansgar is not stopped, everyone including Elisabeth, Leonard, Constantin, the whole family, not forgetting the company, will be at his mercy! Carla is at a point of pleading with Stella already to support her plan but Stella’s had enough and storms out, leaving Carla calling after her in vain… Poor Carla!

Back in her own office, Stella tries to distract herself from her ugly quarrel with Carla by resuming her work. Obviously she’s still pissed off, so much so that when the cook asks her something, Stella just snaps at her and sends her on her way! Then, just as she’s deep into getting some work done, Christian, enters her office from the door behind her desk, without her knowledge. Christian, who’s probably looking for something to amuse himself with, creeps toward Stella. With the duster in his hand, he mischievously starts to run it down on Stella’s face. Lo and behold, Stella jumps and lets out a frightened scream! (Frankly, who wouldn’t, if something tickles you out of nowhere, all of a sudden!) Christian thinks it’s such a funny thing but Stella’s not in the mood to laugh or joke about it at all. She gives him a snippy shelling that immediately wipes off the laughter in his face. Poor Christian! Sensing that his cousin is in a pissy mood, he literally waves a white flag at her and leaves her in peace. Wow, temper, temper!!

In the study, Carla is sketching the love of her life, Stella, again. Just as she’s caressing the sketch, her eyes can’t help but glance toward the Escort Service brochure. Her sense of vengeance toward Ansgar gets the better of her when she picks up the phone and starts to dial the number that’s on the brochure. Still quite doubtful herself if she could go through with it, she bites the bullet and makes an appointment with one of the escorts. (Uh-oh…Carla, Carla, Carla..!)

Sometime later, Stella is handing out mail to the residents of the castle. She enters the study. Nobody is around. So she goes around the desk and leaves some mail and starts (or tries to) to re-arrange the papers on the desk. But she slips and a bunch of files and paper are scrawled over the floor. As she picks them up, she spots Carla’s sketching of her and she can’t help lingering on it, daydreaming (presumably) about her and Carla. Just then, Elisabeth enters the study and Stella quickly finishes picking up the rest of the stuff that fell. But Elisabeth clearly saw her looking at Carla’s sketch and comments about Carla’s artistic talent, trying to lighten Stella up since she knows that Stella and Carla had a fight earlier. Stella expresses her disappointment that Carla seems to be so focused on the whole thing with the Holding that she hardly has time for her. Elisabeth defends Carla and tells Stella that Carla’s doing something to “save” her father’s legacy. Stella points out that Carla’s plot shouldn’t be the answer for it. Elisabeth agrees but is confident that Carla will not step over the line that will affect or harm Hannes in anyway. Besides, Ansgar loves his son. He will not let the situation go worse. Also, Carla will come to her senses and realizes that her plan will not be beneficial in the end. That gives Stella a little hope.

Later that day, Carla is on her way out of the castle when she sees Stella coming from the kitchen. Carla looks at her expectantly but Stella just walks away, leaving her standing in the atrium alone. Then in comes little Hannes, all dressed in native’s outfit, howling. He runs toward Carla who’s amused to see her nephew having fun. But then, Ansgar comes in, who’s obviously been playing with Hannes and is trying to catch him with a toy stick. He sees Carla and immediately tells Hannes to back away from her. When Hannes doesn’t, he tries to scare him off by claiming that Carla’s a snake, much to Carla’s disgust! Little innocent Hannes looks surprised and corrects his dad that Carla’s not a snake. Ansgar huffs and assures his son that Carla’s not only a snake, but a very dangerous one, too! (God, that man is incorrigible! And in front of a child, too!)

When they’re gone, Carla sees that Stella’s been watching them in the hallway. They lock eyes. Stella gives Carla a look of “You’d better not go through with your plan.” Carla hesitates but with a heavy heart gives Stella the look that probably means, “I’m sorry but I simply have to!” and leaves the castle. Stella’s reaction is one of disbelief that Carla could still go through with it!

At the rooftop of Schneiders, Carla awaits her appointment. Then a woman approaches her. Having clandestine meetings clearly makes Carla all paranoid when she tries to be discrete as she asks the woman if she’s the one she’s supposed to meet with! When the woman is seated, Carla proceeds to make sure that their meeting and what she’s about to have the escort do is done discretely. Then, she gives the woman 2 envelopes. One is a picture of Ansgar. Immediately the woman recognizes that it’s none other than Ansgar von Lahnstein. Of ‘coz the Lahnsteins are public figures so who wouldn’t know Ansgar, right? But Carla looks a little worried. Then the 2nd enveloped is opened and it’s cash. The woman starts to comment on the value. Carla, by now, is getting more and more unsure and concerned about her actions.

Carla then makes up her mind when without any further discussion, she takes back both envelopes from the woman who starts to object to it. Jeez, they haven’t even begun to discuss and negotiate the details! But when Carla’s mind is made up, that’s it. Carla, like she’d catch a horrible disease if she stayed any minute longer with the woman, immediately dismisses the woman, telling her to forget the whole thing, and literally runs out of there, with the look of guilt and horror on her face as if she can’t believe she actually contemplating going through that terrible plan of hers! The “What was I thinking?!” look is evident on her face and body language as she scurries away. The woman stares after her in disbelief as if to say, “WTF, woman! Are you taking the piss or what?!” (Hilarious scene to watch!)

Presumably after work hours, Stella appears on the rooftop of Schneiders, presumably upon Carla’s insistence that they should meet. She looks for Carla and finally spots her sitting way at the corner (the same spot Carla and the escort were sitting earlier). Carla sees her too and beckons Stella to go over. When they are in close proximity with each other by the table, they both act awkwardly but Carla quickly tries to give Stella a kiss on the cheek. However, Stella resists and still angry at Carla, asks her what she wants.

Carla, sensing that Stella is still pretty mad at her, signals her to sit down. She immediately apologizes for her behavior and their fight earlier. Desperate for Stella to forgive her, she pushes away the wine glass on the table, puts her arm on that spot with her open hand, and beckons Stella to put hers on it. Stella hesitates for a brief moment, but seeing just how sorry Carla looks, gives in. Carla immediately squeezes Stella’s hand with hers. (Awwww….)

She continues with her sincere apology, telling Stella how right she was about the whole crazy plan. Stella is not convinced but Carla is determined to make her point clear and sincerely. She really wants Stella to forgive and trust her.

After some back and forth questions and answers, reassurances, Carla tells Stella that she will never want to do anything that could jeopardize their relationship. Stella is too important to her to screw things up for them. Stella’s the most important thing in her life. Stella must believe that.

Stella slowly begins to be truly assured and her smile is back! Yay! Carla sees the lovely smile and is greatly relieved. Thank God! Happily, they both finally kiss and make up!! (COOL!)
