Episode 3444, Tuesday August 11th 2009

Carla and Stella want to enjoy their love secretly. When Stella calls a personnel decision of Ansgar into question she gets admonished by him - from now on she stands on Ansgar's firing list; her days are numbered. Carla defends Stella and rallies to her and is very disappointed when she has to recognise that Maria supports Ansgar in this affair. Carla is unpleasantly surprised when she and Stella are kissing passionately and get caught by Maria.

Huge thanks to you guys for making the clips available. It's been a long road for these two to get together but I think they make a great couple. Would be nice to get a longer honeymoon period before the family scheming gets in the way but I'll live with it

After Maria had seen Carla and Stella kissing each other Carla fears that Maria could use her knowledge against her to give her the dirt on Ansgar. However, Carla's fears are without any reason. Carla begins to see Maria from a different angle and doesn't realize that she gets watched suspiciously by Tanja.

Episode 3446, Friday August 14h 2009

Maria tries to show Carla that she's very interested in having a good relationship with her daughter and that's why she also wants to get to know Stella better. When the meeting of the three ladies gets disturbed by Tanja it's Maria who remedies the situation. While Maria calms Carla and tells her that Tanja didn't realize that she and Stella are having a secret liaison and promises her support against Ansgar, Tanja puts Ansgar on the alert.

I watch it at the website, on you tube and here but I don't understand the language. I need translation until I learn the language cause it seems the VL will be long enough to learn the language.

I think we need to find more love between Carla & Stella. its clear that Carla love Stella more than Stella do, but Carla has lot of troubles and needs rest with some love power for her fight.
I loved the way of the Countessa's love, she's sooooooooooooooooo beautifull.

Forgive me for saying this, but I feel that their love is still very shaky. I dont see Carla loving Stella as much as she did Hanna & Susanna. Maybe the chemistry between the 2 actresses is not so deep yet.

OK, here's one for those of you who understand German perfectly. I'm scratching my head.... this is many episodes before the current one - Tanja had sneakily pulled a strand of hair off of Carla's blazer and put it in an envelope. What was that for? She didn't need it to prove Maria was the real Francesca since Maria had given the real Francesca's hair for analysis to trick Carla/Elizabeth already. Was that a foreboding thing for something in the future?? If it was explained in subsequent episodes after that, I must've glazed through it w/o knowing! Could anyone shed light on it?

I'm curious 'coz don't know about you guys, but for some reason, Maria seems to have this "look" whenever she tries to be close to Carla, like she has a personal interest, as opposed to how she is with the other kids (Ansgar, Constantin, Leonard). Hmm... why, I wonder?

I do agree though, that Maria's interest in Carla is suspicious. I hope it is an interest that is in Carla's favor, since she could use a break in this perpetual fight against Ansgar.

Maria can't succeed in persuading Carla that her convergence wasn't a fake, and she also fails in persuading Ansgar to relent with Carla. During an exclusive interview Maria gets presented to a journalist as the presumed dead Francesca von Lahnstein to sign over the shares of the Lahnstein Holding Company to Ansgar but then the story takes a surprising turn.

Thanks, Adsullata! OK, that's what I thought but then I wondered, why couldn't she just use Ansgar's to test against the real Francesca's hair since Ansgar is also Francesca's son, right? Why go to such lengths as to "steal" Carla's? Hmmm... very curious indeed. Doesn't help when Maria's "special" interest in Carla is so different than the rest of the Lahnstein's kids.

So, we know for sure that Maria lost her baby when the young Johanne pushed and wrestled her to the floor, right? I didn't quite catch Maria's explanation. I mean, I just assumed that the young pregnant Maria was carrying Johanne's "illegitimate" child. Otherwise, why would young Maria want to stab Johanne? Or have I tipped over the "soapland" cliff too much now?

Pardon me in advance if I've gone completely off-base with the storyline! That's what I get for watching without full understanding of the language! But I do prefer to watch w/o subs, though. Makes it more intriguing..!

You know, Novermberstern & Artemia, that's exactly what I'm thinking about. At first I actually thought perhaps Ansgar was the illegitimate child. But then when I saw how Maria was with Carla even from the beginning (before she acted weird), I began to wonder. Then I was trying to make the calculations. Ansgar is the eldest, then comes Carla, then Leonard, right? Wouldn't it be the eldest child be the most logical one - UNLESS Johanne had an affair with Maria during his marriage to Francesca... So, does anyone know if anything tragic happen to young Maria's pregnancy when she was wrestled to the floor? Did she ever reveal anything to Ansgar when she explained?

Oops, about my previous comment regarding the hair sample - I just remembered - Carla used her hair to compare with Maria's. So naturally, Tanja had to steal Carla's hair to replace the analysis that she took. Yup, my bad. I completely forgot!

Anyway.... even without the hair thing - I'm just a little curious about Maria's behaviour around Carla... Well, as the SAGA of the Lahnstein family continues....

Really, I'm hooked to the family plot & the neverending power struggle! Can't wait to see Elizabeth's return. I miss her. She's cool.. Wonder when Sarah's coming back.. she's another one I miss..
