Nina Wenzel was once the strongest weapon the German intelligence service BND had to offer, a smart and intelligent champion of espionage with a lot of sex appeal. Her biggest success was the arrest of global arms dealer Wolf Geiger. But when Nina's sister and husband died in a traffic accident, she changed from top agent to housewife, moved to Hamburg and took care of her sister’s children Jasmine, Luke and baby Jonas. The new neighbours had no idea of Nina’s former life. Five years later, Geiger’s trial is finally due but he manages to escape in a spectacular fashion. Nina's former boss has only one chance. His formerly best undercover agent must return to service. Yearning for new challenges Nina accepts with one condition – she will continue to take care of the children. But the balancing act between ironing board and Kalashnikov is very difficult and it’s a long time ago that she fit into her body armour. She also falls in love with her smart and cute neighbour Ruby and hardly manages to keep her second identity under cover. To regain Geiger’s trust, Nina fakes an assault and steals a new explosive device. But Geiger blows her new cover and abducts the kids. Nina must gain access to the central data storage of the BND and serve as a human bomb, while Geiger blackmails the German chancellor for money. While Nina's boss evacuates the building and secures the valuable data, it is Ruby, who comes to Nina’s assistance. Together they find Geiger who used Nina as a threat in the first place to get ahold of the backup file with the BND data. But with Ruby’s help, Nina once again overcomes the most dangerous criminal. She frees the children, who are surprised but very proud that their aunt is a kick-ass secret agent.
