Over at ARD, they still want to keep Claudia but she's now living in Berlin (hey, she's gone back there, cool!), so one may think that her guest appearances would not be so frequent, as Claudia's agency has stated. While Claudia hasn't officially quit VL, but one has to wonder how fast VL took her off of the show's opening credits, eh?

my QUESTIONS is. If Carla comes back - as a GAST -
where ALL the storys goes, about:

A)Carla and Maria/Francesca ? or
B)Carla and Stella ?

A) ... that's not much for a GASTpart
B) ... i think Anne Wiss have more time (contract)
for TV-recruiting (Nivea & clothes)

Yup, you're right, Muis.

I think it's clearer now that we know CH has moved back to Berlin which is not near Düsseldorf at all, she'd be hard-pressed to make frequent trips to VL's studio just to guest-star in it. I'm thinking, she'd be just like Constantin - appearing in big/special occasions... well, unless CH officially quits from the show, which to date, we haven't heard. So, I think she wants to keep that door open.. which is a smart thing to do..

About AW - don't know how long her contract is - a non-permanent contract should be annual, right? If so, hey, perhaps CH decided to stay on to do a few more episodes until AW's contract is fulfilled? That'd be cool. Honestly, bless AW, but I really don't want to see Stella returning to VL without Carla 'coz that'd only mean 1 thing - Starla is no more! I want to preserve the "happy ending" of Starla, goddamnit!

Oh, about your Qs, Muis, I think part of the reason for Carla's return is to wrap up the Maria thing, and also have a closure about Carla & Stella's future.... that's my theory...

Oh, just wanted to comment on exactly when Carla & Stella will appear on VL:

It seems that there are a couple of dates of when we'd see Carla/Starla back - Jan 28th and Jan 29th. On the preview site, the synopsis for Folge 3550 doesn't mention Carla/Stella until Folge 3551. Folge 3550 airs on Jan 28th and 3551 on Jan 29th. I think, just to be on the safe side, people should check out both episodes. I don't know if the official VL site would be clearer in their synopsis of Folge 3550 about whether there's Carla/Stella in it when they put it up later.

Anyone who has a more concrete answer to this, please post it here. If I hear anything, I will do that too.

But for now, I've marked my calendar for Jan 28th and Jan 29th - and subsequent ones since, from the spoilers, there will be several episodes of Carla/Starla! Yup, I think CH/AW's filming in November would span a few episodes. Makes sense especially if VL wants to wrap up Carla's storyline... I don't think 2 episodes would do the trick...or would it? Well, if it weren't for the spoiler comments on the internet about Carla/Starla being in a few more episodes, I wouldn't have been surprised if VL managed to wrap up Carla's storyline in just 2 episodes! Remember how quick-n-dirty they put everything together between Starla's engagement and their world trip, sending them out the door in one clean swoop?

And so, the predictions, presumptions, guesstimates continue with our beloved Carla and Stella....!

I think you are 100% right about that. There was some foreshadowing in some of the episodes back in September/October...maybe Stella's dream of owning and running a small hotel somewhere with Carla will come true. Or maybe Carla can run a satellite office of the company somewhere else...regardless, I'm guessing they won't stay in Dusseldorf...as long as they keep Starla intact, which I think they will, since although brief, their ending so far has been incredibly romantic.

My GUESS is that CH/ Carla, as well as AW, will be occasional guest stars throughout the year but not very often, only for special occasions. Its not much cost and effort to keep both on a recurring basis and for both, it keeps them before their intenational fans for now.
As for when C/S come back, I think the majority of focus will be on Maria, but I also think that it will be made clear that Starla is very happy elsewhere not involved in the family mess. I think it will set up Starla moving and leaving Dusseldorf to be a family elsewhere.

But this is only my guess.

Yes, I'm hoping (keeping my fingers crossed real tight!) the foreshadowing comes true - hotel or satellite office - I don't care - as long as Starla is intact! I think VL has been fair and realistic about their story...with Carla's entire journey, for that matter.

I so agree with you about this point. Although short, I actually enjoyed it. Yes, their ending was so refreshingly adorable, believable, and convincingly long-lasting!! So, VL had better not ruin the last point! I have Carla's whole journey (thusfar) in a collection which ends in a positively happy ending...which I want it to stay that way! I want to be able to re-visit Carla's life journey from the beginning with good memories instead of the dreaded "Aw, shucks! There goes yet another tragic end to a prominent 3-dimenstional lesbian character with a relationship on TV!" heavy heart, if you catch my drift!

Oh yes, I remember that. Elisabeth did tell everyone at the dinner table that Carla/Stella would want to settle down in one of the places they've visited. I don't recall her mentioning any specific place, though...or did she? I'm now guessing..... Shanghai? That's IF CH has actually kept her VL-door (so to speak!) open for possible future re-appearances (permanent)... It'd then make sense to place Carla in the family business, at a distance, if she heads the satellite office. Then when the time comes for Carla to return, it would be logical since she'd still have been connected to the family all the while during her physical absence from Königsbrunn. (In soapland, you'd never know - people who've left come back; just look at the guy who plays Constantin - he's coming back to VL as a permanent cast member!)

If NOT (if CH doesn't want to return to the show at all except for sporadic guest appearances), then the Stella dream of owning and running a hotel (B&B) would be the perfect happy-ever-after ending without ever turning back!!

RIGHT ON, mate!! Totally agree! That's why it's imperative that VL doesn't ruin that fantastically told story/journey of Carla's which eventually became Starla's!

OK, went to re-read the synopsis of Folge 3550 and, my bad! Can't believe I missed it... "unexpected guest returns" (Ein unerwarteter Gast zurückkehrt)!! Hallo?!?! Duh!

OK, synopsis for Folge 3550: (I missed those 2 critical words in the last sentence in the midst of the whole Ludwig/Elisabeth blah-blah.. saga that probably made me glaze through it!):

"Bei Ludwig und Elisabeth herrscht wegen ihrer konträren Haltung zu Johannes Eiszeit. Während Ludwig erfährt, welche große Wunde Johannes' Tod bei Elisabeth hinterlassen hat, hadert Elisabeth mit dem Andenken an ihre große Liebe. Als sie sich aber schon einsam und verlassen auf dem Schloss fühlt, ist sie umso erleichterter, als ein unerwarteter Gast zurückkehrt."

It's the last sentence that matters... .. which basically says that Elisabeth's sense of loneliness is made easier when an unexpected guest shows up!!
