I found Carla through AfterEllen and then searching through YouTube. I'm glad I took a look. :

i found out about VL on youtube two years ago,i liked Carla/Claudia Hiersche so much and since then i keep following...but now i like it(vl) more because of this story love between carla and stella,they are so HOOT together,i LOVE them....GO STARLAAAA!!!

I have a feeling that YouTube will end up ruling the world....if it doesn't already Although they seem to have started a real crackdown on the clips that get posted - not sure whether that's a good thing or a bad thing

I found VL Carla through link on spanish series hospital central (there is a lesbian couple) and then through the super youtube

I actually knew about this the 1st time AfterEllen reported on it. But I didn't have any time to check it out until now. Plus, I was a little apprehensive after watching the Spanish series, LHDP. It really took the "bejeezuz" out of me, that one! That's why, I really want to see something POSITIVE coming out of VL. One consolation is that Carla has always been gay since the character's inception. And her new partner is also 100% gay! Phew! Please, let this one, if CH is truly leaving the show, LAST!!! Honestly, who better to pair Carla up with but an equally 100% gay one, not to mention, an equally cool/gorgeous one too, instead of a straight/bi whatever, eh? PLEEEEASE!!!

Really, if the Carla/Stella thing ends up in the dumps - I will swear off watching anything recommended by any site! :( No more! My belief that a cool/gorgeous/hot-looking gay couple can truly last on-screen, will forever be tarnished. I mean, the only one I can think of that STILL (in my books) has the best ending is "Bad Girls"' Nikki/Helen! But it was in 2001! I mean, COME ON! 8 years ago, that was! It's time we had another one that's worth remembering/cherishing, for crying out loud!

Great channel - and a huge 'thank you' to her for translating VL.

In fact, thanks to anyone who translates any of these programmes/films, into any language. It opens up various lesbian cultures to a much wider audience.

It also gives lesbians some postivie role models. And I think, as so many lesbians in public positions are afraid to come out, we don't have enough positive role models.

Hurrah for CF, hurrah for YT and hurrah for CH/AW.

I was looking for clips from European TV to show my U.S. students how prudish their culture is. Funny that they think U.S. TV is a glimpse of Sodom and Gomorrah! "Verbotene Liebe" sounded like the perfect title but, of course, I'm too anxious about my job security to show any of the examples in class! Still, I can allude to what's on there and provide more info...if asked.
