Scene 1
Joe: Doctor, there’s a situation I think you should know about. 27 ICBMs were just launched.
Doctor: My god…
Someone: Joe McAdams, We have your wife on set comm.
Joe: McAdams here. Patch her through.
Joe: [talking to his wife] Emily? Thank god. Is Sarah with you? Yeah yeah it’s true. No I don’t where we’re headed. I’m scared too. Listen, can you put Sarah on just so she can hear my voice please?
Joe: [talking to sarah] hey baby girl. Look you hold on to your mama for me ok? I’m looking down at you right now. I can see you standing at the window You left your bike on the front lawn. No..I’m not mad. I love you so much.

Scene 2
Joe: Red light Doctor. Step away from your instruments right now. That is an order.
Doctor: You don’t give me orders.
Joe: I do now. We’re not joining them with that thing on board, and we’re not gonna make it if we don’t join them. Is that simple enough for you?
Doctor: Not your decision.
Joe: We have a responsibility to protect the future.
Doctor: You’re asking me to destroy my life’s work?
Joe: Damn right! If we don’t make our window, we run out of water way before we can join.
Doctor: And you don’t have a choice.
Joe: I want that thing destroyed.
Doctor: It’s all I have.
Joe: My wife and daughter were all I had. Destroy it now.

Scene 3
Joe: They will open fire if we don’t move. Dammit will you answer me.
Doctor: General, if you don’t want them to open fire, all you have to do is move.
Joe: Not with that thing on board.
Doctor: It’s on you, isn’t it?
Joe: We came here to help you and you just wanna throw out lives away?
Doctor: You wanna save them? Start the maneuvers.
Joe: You have seconds to do the right thing or we all die.
