Roan
Scene 1:
Prisoner: Those men you killed were grounders, same as you.
Roan: They were until you opened your mouth. Maybe you really are the commander of death.
Prisoner: Why are you hiding from your people? Are you a criminal?
Roan: It depends on who you ask. And unlike you, I’m not hiding.
Prisoner: What would you call it then?
Roan: I call it surviving, and now that I have you, I call it over.
Prisoner: I told you, I’m worthless to you as a prisoner. I’m nobody.
Roan: There’s a lot of people out there looking for ‘nobody’.
Prisoner: Take me to my people instead. Whatever the Queen is offering, they’ll offer more.
Roan: Even if they could, I don’t think they would. Not for somebody who abandoned them.
Prisoner: You don’t know anything about me.
Roan: I know you took the coward’s way out. I mean what kind of leader abandons his people when they need him?
Prisoner: I had my reasons.
Roan: No! There are no reasons. It was your birthright and you gave it away by choice.
Prisoner: You didn’t choose? You’re in disguise, same as me, on the run, same as me, in the wilderness, same as me…
Roan: I was banished! 3 years ago. Cast out of my home, from everyone I care about, from the woman I love. So no, I didn’t choose. And I don’t care what happened to you. I can’t take you back to your people because you are the way back home to mine.

Scene 2
Prisoner: What? Come to gloat?
Roan: Oh I thought we needed a little more quality time together. Don’t be a fool. I’m a prisoner here, same as you.
Prisoner: I hope your girlfriend hasn’t found someone else to keep her warm on those cold nights.
Roan: Brave words for someone in a cell.
Prisoner: Its been awhile since I killed anyone. Please, give me a reason.
Roan: As a matter of fact, that’s why I’m here.
Prisoner: What the hell are you talking about?
Roan: Escape. Revenge. Revolution. Any of those turn you on?
Prisoner: You’re gonna help me escape?
Roan: Well that’s the least interesting of the three, but yes.
Prisoner: Why would you do that?
Roan: Our mutual friend broke his deal with me. Something else we have in common. And I’m willing to make a new one with you so we can both go home.
Prisoner: I’m already going home.
Roan: If you really believe that, you’re not as smart as I thought.
Prisoner: Tell me what you know.
Roan: I know he left you alone to die. And I know you did what you had to do. And I know it still haunts you…
Prisoner: Get to the point.
Roan: Do what has to be done. Now.
Prisoner: You want me to kill him?
Roan: See you are as smart as I thought.
Prisoner: Kill him yourself.
Roan: I can’t get close. You can. Tonight.
Prisoner: In public? So his guards can kill me and everyone I care about? Good plan…
Roan: So I’ll take the fact that you’ve thought about the ‘how’ as a yes.
Prisoner: Get out.
Roan: Guards can be bought. Many of them are loyal to my mother. If you do this, you’ll find her a strong and loyal ally to you and your people. You want peace? You know me, I can give you peace. I just need you to kill one more person. Its not too much to ask for from the commander of death.
Prisoner: How do I do it?
Roan: Follow me.

Pike
Pike: Well well well… fancy meeting you here
Person A: Is that Pike?
Pike: [to “A”] I don’t believe it.
Pike: [To his men] Stand down. ???(someone’s name), Smith, watch our six(?)! The rest of you, why don’t you hug someone.
Person A: I can’t believe you’re even alive?
Pike: Yeah. It’s a damn good question. Wish I could say it was by the grace of god, but the truth is, god’s got nothing to do with it. It’s simple math, we kill more of them than they do to us. Am I right?
[Pike’s men]: YEAH!!
Pike: Ah its good to see you man. Sorry about the rude “how d’ya do”, but we had no idea who you were.
Person A: How many of you guys are there?
Pike: 63. The rest are camped in the mountain(??) that’s not far from here. Grounder killers, one and all.
Person A: 63..there were 3 times that number. Was it the crash?
Pike: The crash took 5. Golf and Romeo took the rest.
Person A: Golf and Romeo?
Pike: G-R. Grounders. Someone’s got to brush up on their military phonetic alphabet. Earth skills 101. How many of our people are left?
Person A: We’ve got alpha and mecha (I think referring to the ark stations) ??? in-tact. We’ve got a settlement out here too.
Pike: Settlement?
Person A: Yeah we call it camp Jaha. Don’t worry, you’ll be safe there.
Pike: Safe? Y’know the grounders, they don’t have a word for that. Just ask your friend here (possibly referring to Lincoln?). Why is he even with you?
Person A: He’s an ally , he’s my friend.
Pike: Well I guess I’m gonna have to take your word for it.
Person A: Ok let’s synch our ?? coordinates because we can’t move with you, you know? We’re gonna move north to look for one of our own (guess that’s Clarke they’re looking for).
Pike: I’m going with you.
Person A: Thank you but its not…
Pike: No listen up! I spent the last 3 months dancing with romeo (think he meant golf and romeo a.k.a grounders) in these woods. Trust me when I tell you, the further north you go, the worse they get. A hundred and thirty-two. That’s how many of my people they killed. Good people. Some of them kids. You ever been north of here?
Person A: No.
Pike: I didn’t think so. Don’t worry, we’re gonna have fun. And you’re gonna thank me later. GUYS! MOVE!
[Pike’s men]: YEAH!

Titus
~Scene 1~
Titus: Choose your weapon.
Orland: I don’t have time for this, Titus.
Titus: Indulge your uncle.
* Titus starts fight training with his nephew *
Titus: You’re walking a dangerous path.
Orland: Did you bring me here to tell me things I already know?
Titus: Your enemies are circling and if they succeed, who do you think will take your place? Who’s ready? Who’s worthy?
Orland: It won’t come to that.
* Titus knocks Orland down thus defeating his nephew in their training fight *
Titus: Your certainty is childish. I haven’t defeated you in ages and yet here we are… And you know why? Because you’re letting your feelings make you sloppy. You can’t make the same mistakes with your enemies.
Orland: I’m not. They will fall in line.
Titus: Not every enemy is so bold to face you with sword drawn. Some will come at you with poisonous words.
Orland: I know you want what’s best for me. But I have to do what’s right, I have to do it even when it’s hard. It will work like it always has. I won’t accept anything less.

~Scene 2~
Titus: [to the guard guarding the prisoner] You! Out!
Titus: [to the prisoner] My name is Titus. War chief to the river clan. Orland is my sister’s son.
Prisoner (a.k.a Clarke): *sarcastically * I didn’t know he had a family.
Titus: My point is, that I care very deeply for him. Orland was pleased to hear that you’ll be joining in our cause. I was not. Protecting him is my primary concern.
Prisoner: *sarcastically * Tough job.
Titus: His forays into recklessness I can handle… but you are a problem. Orland is letting his admiration for Sky Kru undermine his good judgment. His last foolish indulgence almost led us into civil war, but this plan of his? That’ll get him killed.
Prisoner: I didn’t ask him to do this.
Titus: No. You inspired him. But that’s the past. Now I have a proposition for you. I know that all you want to do is go back to your people…so I’ll grant you that.
Prisoner: What do you mean?
Titus: When I leave here, your door will be unguarded. You’ll have 5 minutes to leave the city and return home so my nephew can go back to being the leader his people need.
Prisoner: If I don’t?
Titus: Then this city will become a very dangerous place for you indeed. Go now. For everyone’s sake.

Nia
*Nia training some other person *
Nia: Shift your weight. Again. Remember to anticipate his reflexes; he’s fast and when you get cocky ?? you can forget that.
Person: I’m not going to get cocky.
Nia: You’re upset that I picked you.
Person: I’m not surprised.
Nia: When you defeat John, your honor will be restored. In the wake of your victory, we will be more powerful than ever.
Person: Stop. If I need to fight, I’ll fight.
Nia: I know why you’re so eager to return home. Her name’s Adare (sp??) right? You tried to keep her from me but you’re not as clever as you think you are. You want to be done with lies? Fine. If you die in the ring, I will make sure the woman you love dies too. Fight well.
