And it is true, you don’t want to—not to dismiss men in any way, I’m not bashing guys—but when there is something about two girls on screen and you want them to be together and you want them to kiss and it’s for the male viewership, and that’s the complete antithesis—no. I want to use this opportunity to grow as an artist—I’ve never played this before. And that’s the more exciting part of it. [...]

Ab diesem Samstag läuft Rookie Blue jeden Samstag Nachmittag ab 16 Uhr auf RTL.
Wenn Formel 1 läuft normal, ansonsten als Doppelfolge.

Hey, danke für den Hinweis!! Scheint eine interessante Serie zu sein, bin ja erst drauf aufmerksam geworden, weil Gail in Staffel 4 mit Holly anbandelt, aber zu sehen, wie alles losging mit den "Rookies", dürfte spannend werden.

Hier mal einige Gail & Holly Szenen aus Staffel 4. Wohlgemerkt: Gail hatte bisher nur Männerbeziehungen und ist wohlbekannt für ihre emotionale Distanz, die sich oft in ihrem Sarkasmus zeigt bzw. womöglich ist dieser Sarkasmus ja ihr Weg, immer Distanz zu wahren. So beginnt das auch zunächst mit Holly, aber es legt sich recht schnell. (Gail ist übrigens nicht die weibliche Hauptrolle der Serie, daher sind ihre Szenen mit Holly bisher noch eher spärlich.)

Aliya hat jeden Ball getroffen und Charlotte hat jedesmal den Schläger weggefeuert. Die ausgelassene Gail war da wohl eher Charlotte

Wisst ihr, da die Serie ja jetzt auf RTL erst begonnen hat und Gail erstmal Männerbeziehungen haben wird, finde ich es dennoch interessant, Gail dabei zuzuschauen und zu sehen, ob es im Gesamtbild wirklich so ist, dass die Grundlagen für ihre Beziehung zu einer Frau möglicherweise schon recht früh gelegt wurden.

Charlotte Sullivan hat in dem AfterEllen Interview immerhin gesagt, dass sie selber schon in Staffel 1 die Autoren drauf angesprochen hat und den Gedanken, dass Gail Frauen liebt, immer mitgespielt hat, wenn man so will.

[...] And I’ve always had hints about her sexuality—you know, I talked to the writers about it, back in season one, I questioned if she was really in love with these guys that they had been putting in front of her. It was something that the writers had taken in their back pocket and kind of always toyed with the idea, and even if no one was noticing, but I would kind of play it like you didn’t know. Because she could have really been happy with men, but we don’t necessarily want to put labels on it, because we don’t know. It’s all about discovery, right? [...]

Ich glaube, ich find Gail Peck auch deshalb so hübsch, weil sie mich an Dianna Agron erinnert. Charlotte Sullivan ist definitiv eine schöne Frau, aber weil sie mich an Dianna erinnert, finde ich sie vermutlich ganz besonders hübsch.
