Hi guys

Just wanted to offer assistance in proofreading and bits of translation from German to English. I have been helping 9equinox with some of the backstory subs, and found I really enjoy doing it (never having done this kind of thing before, I wasn't sure how I would get on!).

I'm a native English speaker (UK-based), and my German is fairly decent - I don't always catch the fast-spoken or idiomatic stuff but usually get the meaning. Having the subtitles on the Marbecca storyline adds to my vocabulary and I'm very grateful for them and the team for their sterling work in producing them.

So, I'm here to help!

I'm not active in translating atm and I might make myself unpopular... but just my two cents...
If you just start to learn German I think it's quite difficult to really translate it.
There are so many snares and things can be translated in a quite false way without anyone noticing and then this is the fundament for the other languages too, which have those misunderstandings in it as well.
of course it's a decision of you + the ones translating atm and I don't know how much you actually know...
well, maybe there's still away to help with it ...
or maybe you could indeed go for the portuguese translations?
