But she realizes that she doesn't stand a chance to win Marlene's heart and that she has no other choice than to gain control of her feelings. Easier said than done, as to distance herself seems to be impossibe because Rebecca doesn't want to offend Marlene. In addition, Rebecca is looking forward to a planned meeting with Marlene and is very disappointed when Marlene doesn't appear. So Plan B is needed: that means distraction!

Has anyone subbed the early episodes, when rebecca comes back and becomes close friends with marlene through the pregnancy thing? I watched the scenes without fully understanding but it was quite clear how the real depth of their connection is established there. It helps explain why there are already so attached and rely on each by the time the storyline started getting subtitled...and especially it is really insightful i think on how quickly and almost immediately bonded with each other, even when they were arguing over things. It really sets up the dynamics of how they relate to each other and how ultimately they click. When the episodes began to be subtitled it was almost at the same time as when rebecca fell for marline, and has been acting different because she´s trying to hide her feelings, but it would be really great for the viewers to be able to see them 'connect' as they did naturally without holding back, and how strong but complementary their personalities were....or at least shown at the beginning. Is anyone translating those?

I think they were also pretty informative on why rebecca has changed so much...and the whole bicycle thing (which I find a bit too much) but there's a whole explanation on her changed attitude, looks, etc, which before I saw those earlier episode I did not understand at all and criticized how much they had changed rebecca without explanation...but there is one...or an attempt at one. I'd really like to be able to watch the episodes with subs, cause I only catch about a third of what they say in german :/

yeah, we know... and see it the same as you do (at least I do). The problem at the moment is that we're still busy with getting the recent episodes done, hopefully one or two more people will join our team in the next weeks - maybe then it's possible.
There's one little ep where one of us did translations for - I'll ask her if she already sent it to ladiesofvl.
So you understand a bit German? that's cool! Maybe you or someone else with an english speaking background would like to proofread our translations? just to make sure that there are no big mistakes or things you can't say like that in the files?
