Episode 4388, Monday October 28th 2013

After Sebastian has called off the fur presentation - much to the anger of Alexa - Rebecca tries to stand in for Tanja (who's lying in a hospital after she had collapsed).
Nevertheless, Alexa makes every effort to let the presentation take place. With Tristan's help she succeeds in enticing Rebecca away from the company. When she comes
back to LCL it's too late: The fur presentation is already underway. Rebecca recognizes that Alexa isn't naive at all as she thought up to now.

Episode 4405 (November 21st, 2013)

Marlene is concerned that the fur opponents’ ruthlessness in their protest exposes Rebecca to personal risk. But when she suggests to Rebecca to upgrade security, Rebecca thinks Marlene is blowing things out of proportion. Encouraged by Emilio, Marlene talks to Alexa, who wants to immediately reinforce the security measures out of concern for the furs. When Rebecca finds out, she is mad. But what Marlene doesn’t realize is that because of the extra security measures she has put the Lahnsteins’ plan at risk.

Vincent Berg and Eva Baumann were killed in a shoot-out, Ansgar is in custody, the Fashion Days are at risk and Marlene dismisses it as a rumor when Jessica worriedly says that the employee bonuses for the upcoming show are cancelled. Although Marlene initially believes this is something she can smooth over with the staff, she soon learns from Rebecca that this smoke has come from a large fire! The employees fears are actually true and it is down to Marlene to fix this disaster. On the one hand she can understand Rebecca's arguments in light of the difficult situation of the company. But when the employees accuse Marlene of being a Lahnstein puppet, Marlene knows she must take a stand.

Episode 4451 (February 7, 2014)

Marlene has gone out on a limb and made a promise it is by no means certain she can keep. Now irrevocably committed, she tries unsuccessfully to fight with Tristan about the employee bonus. Not will to give up, Marlene does some internet research which yields enough information to convince the executives to follow through with the bonuses. While the news sees Marlene applauded by her peers, Rebecca must now face accusations from Tristan. He insists it’s time for Rebecca to get her girlfriend under control and toeing the company line.
