"On call room, now."
I'd never imagine that I would hate this sentence that much. "Five minutes", I answered though. I was filling out a patient record. I had to concentrate on it, because I was still making mistakes. Mostly, when Callie calls me, or my thoughts make a trip to the look of her eyes.
"I will be waiting for you", she said and winked at me.
I took a few deep breaths. It was getting hard being with her. At the beginning of all this, I was the pushing one. I was flirting, I was making steps. I felt the magic. But right now it felt more like a flue attack than a hot hot sexy fever to a hot and sexy woman. I walked in and locked the door. "Callie, we need to talk."
"Oh...okay. I'd rather like to kiss you instead, but, okay then. Let's talk."
"Things are not going the way I planed them. As far as you can plan this."
"Whoa? Are you breaking up with me?"
"What?"
"Those things...I am one of them, am I?"
"No. Not the whole of you." Outch, wrong words. "Look. I know, I was pushing to meet you and pushing to kiss you and all that. But things going too fast for me. Walking hand in hand with you, okay. Kiss you, okay. That you step in for me in front of Reed and Izzi, not okay. To kiss me in front of the hospital, not okay. To force me to have sex with you, definitely not okay! This is new for me. I haven't done this step with a woman yet. You are hot. You are strong, damn nail-biting and breathtakingly hot. But I am not sure if I can go there."
"And you are telling me that because of what?"
"Because you are comments about me being naked in your bed. About stroking me. About feeling my touches."
"Sorry, but I thought you wanted it too."
"Yes I do. Kind of. But I would like to determine the time for that."
"Sadie", she hold her warm fine hands to my cheeks. "You can have all time you need." She smiled. "Do I look like a monster. A sex-monster? Do I look like Sloan to you?"
I had to laugh about that. "No. Of course not", I admitted.
"When I started to confess that Dr. Hahn was more than a friend to me, I couldn't go there either." Her eyes examined me from top to bottom and stopped at the part between my legs. "I was scared, because this was not the way I used to know. And when we did it the first time, I was wondering if I was doing right. And yes, we took our time as well." Her hands made their way to my hands. "As long as you have still those tiny burgeoning feelings for me, that give me the feeling I am not waisting my time, everything's gonna be okay. And if you'd feel better, I will stop kissing you for a few days."
"No!", I said quickly and kissed her. "I am longing for your kisses. Sometimes it feels like they are the reason I am feeling alive. Kissing is good. I just need time before I can do the next step."
"Longing for my kisses, huh? Sounds good." She kissed me again, still smiling. I love those kind of kisses. The lips don't match perfect then, but I like the thought that the kisses are happy by making two people happy.
The kisses became more challenging, but though she was pushing me to the wall and her hands made the way unter my medical wardrobe, I felt not urged. I felt good. I felt the heat and the desire flooding my body.
"Stop!" I said. I could hardly breathe, my knees were wobbly and I was not up to the situation. I left.
