Hanna's subconsciousness was a stalker.

Yes, it was! Really, who just shows up repeatedly at someone's office and home? I don't know if Hanna had been to the castle before, but even if she had it took a lot of nerve and determination to go there like that. Carla didn't even seem that surprised to see her! lol

I guess it has the same effect on anyone who watched Canna story.

I believe it does. Last week I saw a snowglobe marked down from Valentine's and immediately thought of Canna.

Hey ladies, your wish is my command :). Here comes the first of two KD interviews. Unfortunately, the moderator doesn't seem to have a clue, but KD tries to make the best of it.

Danke schön Kim!!! :bigherz:

Do you get weird reactions as well, like people asking, "What's wrong with you?"

Wow, that is really offensive. I'm wondering if it the way it was said is considered offensive in German, and if so to what degree?

28.03.2011, 22:44

The moderator wasn't talking about KD but about the character Hanna Novak when he quoted the reactions. He wanted to know if KD also got reactions like "What's wrong with Hanna Novak? Now she's a lesbian?"

This moderator is so unprofessional that it's almost funny and he really seems to have a problem with lesbians (or thinks that everybody else than KD has). While KD is obviously very relaxed with her lesbian storyline the moderator has some problems to get the word "lesbian" out. He says something like "AT THE MOMENT you're playing in a ... ehm... a well... a lesbian EPISODE so to speak" (as if he's saying "that's probably all over next week). His comment about KD's husband ("Now the male fans will exhale: A man joins the game") is even more stupid. What does KD's husband have to do with the character Hanna Novak? And why is it so unbearable that there's no man involved in the Hanna & Carla relationship? And last but not least the moderator mentions Hanna's boyfriend Lars, who is "Hanna's Ex-Boyfriend AT THE MOMENT". Is he still waiting for the Hanna/Lars reunion or what  ?

"AT THE MOMENT you're playing in a ... ehm... a well... a lesbian EPISODE so to speak"

Now this is so pitiful that one has to laugh. He's fumbling all over the place trying to get that word out of his mouth.

He also brings a man into the conversation as often as possible, like you said. Whatever his issues with lesbians, and it's obvious he has them, he should never have allowed his feelings to overshadow the entire interview. The contrast between KD, who is obviously comfortable in her own skin, and the interviewer could not be greater. She is the true professional in that interview.

Thanks for posting, Kim!

:) :)

It's funny, what else can I say? You ladies said already everything. The guy obviously didn't know how to handle the topic. And what relief for him to switch to a book :)

And he wasn't the only one who looked really relieved  .

Somebody should tell the moderator that it's not polite to interrupt your guests all the time  . Anyway, here comes the second KD interview. Just a very briefly one because she's mainly there to pick a winner for her book:

Thank you for this, Kim! :D

Somebody should also tell the moderator not to yank out the actor's pic and bend the corner!

btw, do many people go swimming in the North Sea? I think it would be too cold for most, myself included!

Definitely. KD must have been there in April when the North Sea was too cold for a bath (I don't think it was warmer than 57 degrees.) But in the summer the North Sea can have 68 degrees, sometimes more. Perfect for a refreshing bath :).

Sorry Kim, I somehow missed your response until now.

Guess I'm a bit wimpy, 'cause 68 degrees is downright cold for me. :snowman:
